Interior design · Bengaluru · 10 years
We have spent ten years building houses in this city, so our interior team reads a plumbing drawing as easily as a mood board. You get 3D views approved before anything is cut, one written quote with brands named in it, and a handover date on paper. Whether you have just taken possession of a flat or we built the house ourselves, the terms are the same.
WHERE WE TAKE UP INTERIOR PROJECTS IN BENGALURU
Most people think interior design means choosing colours and furniture. That is the last ten percent of it.
The real work happens earlier, and it is the part that decides whether you live comfortably in the house for the next twenty years.
A home interior designer works out how you move through the rooms before anything is drawn. Where the light falls in the morning. How much storage a family of four actually needs and where it should sit. Whether the switchboard lands behind the sofa or beside it. How wide a kitchen walkway has to be when two people are cooking. What the false ceiling has to accommodate so the air conditioning, the lights and the fan do not fight each other.
Then comes the technical layer — electrical points, plumbing shifts, ceiling levels, load calculations for wall-mounted units, moisture protection in the utility. Only after all of that is settled do finishes and colours get decided.
This is where our construction background earns its place. Because we build houses, our interior team can tell you on the first visit whether a wall can come down, whether a plumbing point can move, and what it will cost — instead of promising something in a 3D render that turns out to be impossible six weeks later.
Pallavi Constructions has been building in Bengaluru for ten years. Independent houses, duplexes, commercial floors and the interiors that go inside them. Our civil engineers and our interior designers sit in the same office and work from the same drawing set, which is not how most interior firms operate.
It matters more than it sounds. When an interior firm is brought in after possession, it inherits whatever the builder left behind — switchboards in awkward places, plumbing where the vanity cannot go, ceiling heights that will not take a proper cove. The designer then works around those mistakes and calls it a constraint. When we build houses and design the interiors for them, none of that happens, because the light plan and the furniture layout are settled while the slab is still on paper.
Already own the flat? The advantage is different but just as real: we can tell you exactly what can be altered structurally and what cannot, and we do the civil work ourselves instead of subcontracting it to someone who disappears after a week.
Take the whole home as one turnkey job, or start with the one room that bothers you most. Each service below carries its own written scope and rate, so you always know what you are paying for and what it includes.
The room everyone sees and the one your family actually uses. We plan the seating and circulation first, then design the TV unit, the feature wall and the false ceiling around it so the light falls where you sit rather than in the middle of the floor. Cove and accent lighting are drawn into the same plan as the air conditioning and fan points, wiring runs concealed behind the unit, and the finishes are chosen against the daylight your room really gets.
The room you use every single day, so it gets designed around your cooking rather than around a catalogue. We plan the work triangle, counter height, appliance positions and ventilation first, then build the units to your exact measurements in factory conditions. Hardware brands are named in the quote, the carcass carries a written warranty, and the plumbing and electrical shifts are handled by our own team instead of being left to you to arrange.
A bedroom has to work at six in the morning and at eleven at night, so the lighting is planned in layers — ambient, bedside and wardrobe — with switches where your hand actually reaches from the bed. We design the bed back wall, the ceiling, the dresser and the study or reading corner as one composition, and we plan children’s and parents’ rooms differently because they are used differently. Materials are picked to stay quiet and calm rather than to photograph well.
Storage is the thing every family runs out of and no brochure plans for properly. We count what you actually own — clothes, luggage, bedding, festival boxes — and design around it. Sliding or hinged, floor to ceiling, with lofts that are genuinely reachable and internal fittings suited to what goes inside them. Everything is built to your wall dimensions, so there are no dust-collecting gaps at the edges and no wasted corner you can never use.
A small piece of joinery that carries more meaning than anything else in the house, so it is designed carefully and to your family’s practice. Freestanding, wall-mounted or a full pooja room, with jaali or carved shutters, a marble or wooden base, storage for lamps and samagri, and warm concealed lighting. Direction and placement are worked out with your vaastu requirements at the layout stage, and ventilation for the lamp is planned in rather than discovered later.
Offices, clinics, retail floors, salons and showrooms, fitted out to a date you can plan a launch around. Commercial work has different rules to a home — footfall, storage, cabling, signage, fire and ventilation norms, and finishes that survive daily use rather than looking good for one photograph. We work in phases where you are still operating, and most of our commercial fit-outs run outside business hours so your shutters open on time.
Same sequence on every project, so you always know what has to happen before the next stage starts.
We visit your flat or house, measure every room, and talk through how your family lives, what you own and what you want to spend.

+30-day windowBreaking a wall, shifting a plumbing point, waterproofing a bathroom — that is our own team, not a subcontractor you have to chase.
Because our designers know what is structurally possible, the render is a plan rather than a sales picture.
Written down before work starts, with any change priced on paper before it is executed.
Wardrobes and kitchen units are built in controlled conditions with named hardware, then installed — less dust in your home and a cleaner finish.
Dated updates with a note on what moved. Several of our clients approve everything from another country.
A decade of houses and interiors in this city, and a team that has seen what fails after five monsoons.
“
They spotted on the first visit that the plumbing point would not allow the vanity we wanted, and told us so before taking any money. Two other firms had shown us renders with it in the wrong place.

The kitchen is the part I use every day and it is the part they got most right. Measured twice, and the hardware brands were exactly what was written in the quote.

We approved everything from Singapore. Weekly photos, a video walk before each payment, and the flat was ready when they said it would be.

Seven fields. The property type and location are what let us judge the scope before we call.

Anything else, call us. We would rather answer it now than after an agreement is signed.
Call +91 63605 11848For a 2BHK, a full turnkey interior usually lands between ₹4 and ₹9 lakh depending on the scope, and a 3BHK between ₹6 and ₹15 lakh. The range is wide because the biggest costs are the kitchen, the wardrobes and the false ceiling, and those depend entirely on the material and hardware you pick. We give you a line-by-line written quote after a free visit so you are comparing real numbers, not a guess. Our construction package rates are published in full on the homepage.
Design and approvals take two to three weeks, and execution usually runs four to eight weeks depending on how much civil work is involved. A single kitchen or a set of wardrobes is quicker. Your dates go into the agreement at the start.
Yes, and many of our clients do exactly that. If you have taken possession of a flat or built elsewhere, interiors run as a standalone job on the same rate card, the same 3D approval process and the same written handover date.
Start wherever you like. Plenty of families begin with the kitchen and wardrobes and come back for the rest a year later. The design stays consistent because we keep your drawings on file.
For a single room or a kitchen replacement, usually yes, and we phase the work to keep one part of the home usable. For a full turnkey interior it is far better to move out for a few weeks — dust, paint fumes and ceiling work make it uncomfortable and slow the job down.
Small changes happen on every project and we expect them. We price the change in writing, tell you what it does to the completion date, and start only after you approve it. What we will not do is build something quietly and bill you for it at the end.
We do everything fixed — joinery, ceilings, lighting, finishes and built-in units. Loose furniture such as sofas, beds and dining sets, and appliances like the fridge, hob and chimney, stay yours to buy. We will tell you the right sizes and positions so what you buy actually fits.
Interior joinery, waterproofing and installation each carry a written warranty period listed in your agreement, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, fittings and appliances are handed over to you with the bills.
